I think the manual says about 24Nm IIRC. I do mine to about 22 and locktite them in.
What I find is... if you get a price from pro bolt or the likes, deduct about 75%, that’s what the cost should be. Can’t remember exactly how...

Yep, alloy has to be spotlessly clean to weld. If not, any contaminants especially oil will get into the weld pool and cause it to blow through.
The carbon ones are much thinner then the std plastic ones and if using the std brake line setup, the h line should sit well above the mudguard....
