When the slipper works the drum moves up the ramps leaving a gap behind it, a steel first would drop off, that's if my memory is correct. Steve
Shouldn't you start with a friction first, it's a few years since mine was on but I seem to remember if a steel went on first it could drop off...
My stm slipper always did the same, particularly on an uphill start giving it a bit more throttle. Steve
