Sounds like the relay, I had the same problem, mine kept blowing the dipped so replaced the relay and all is fine now. Bought a relay from E bay...
Easy, remove the bolts securing the old one, bolt in new one, locate said connector under fuel tank/ or where ever ducati have placed the sender...
Why not have your forks serviced instead? This will find the cause of your problem.
