You dont mig weld T45,and you dont weld headstock on if you cant weld,im not having a go lol.
i do all kinds of welding tig and bronze included,got a frame jig aswell.
The project is looking good,if you still need welding or advice on your tank fab im only in Hull,also have a mandrel bender for frame tubes.

i would think around £1200-£1300 tops if you wanted to tidy it up the parts are cheap enough and still readly available...up your insurance if...

ok i will have a look,898 were a early 90's engine as far as i can remember.
Antig are british made quality frames light and strong made from chromoly and bronze welded,as for the engine you need to ask what type it is 888...
This isnt a 1970's bike its mid to late 80's i would say,antig frame and motoplatt ignition.
It could be the hard facing has worn off the rocker arms,i had to replace a couple of mine.
......and just let the clutch out slightly in first to roll the bike a few inches and give the lever a tap.
If the tickover is too high it will make neutral harder to find,also check the rose joints on the lever,if they are worn it makes it harder...i...
It is a stright bolt on if you have a slave cylinder on the left,now i no how it works and fits i would just get the faceplate and drill my own...
You have to supply a basket as the tangs are drilled and tapped for the pressure plate to bolt to and a center,you dont get plates supplied and...
We got the clutch direct from EFM $645 we had to make some changes as it was made for the 900 push from left side,you can still use the hand...
At slow speed its like riding a honda c50,just over tickover the çlutch starts to bite but it doesnt grab, as soon as you knock the throttle off...
If you have lost the use of your left hand as he has it is very desirable...i rode it round the yard at work at walking speed feet on the pegs...
Thats the one EFM i would think it would be nice to use on the road with no disability.
Finally the auto clutch has arrived,its a nice looking trick piece of kit,easy to install and set up,i just feels wrong dropping into first...
