When you get the multimeter, refer to the electrical drawings(in the back of you manual)check there is current going from the solenoid to another...
Passed my driving test, after 15 years of just the bikes. [ATTACH]
I had a good battery and no blown Fuses, master fuse on the solenoid was fine aswell, but the solenoid itself was bad. I had no light no fuel pump...
I had this on my diavel not long ago, if it’s not the battery, alarm or a blown fuse it may be the starter solenoid.
Found a pic of a 999/749 Bitubo shock, it’s in the old silver style[ATTACH]

So this is the bitubo shock for the 748/916 etc, stark contrast in looks to the 848, still hunting for a 999/749 image.[ATTACH]
Tank, fuel pump, swingarm, rear shock, switch gears, ecu, air box, air filter, rear subframe. Cheers
