Most things with an engine/ electrics and wheels with a guarantee or warranty attached will fail or have warranty issues at some point or other....

This can be checked if your bike was affected by looking up the VOSA website and entering your VIN No to check on recalls etc.
The ECU in the LHS panel is for the exhaust/ Termi's etc. there should be a 2nd unit under the seat that controls the suspension.
Yep, I made the switch in 2012. Definitely no regrets. Although there have been a few warranty issues, these were fixed by 1 of the dealers....
