Did you buy the lower guard too? If you haven’t fitted it yet, it’s easier with the upper part removed. Ask me how I know… It's only three screws.

Good question, I think they are the same.
They are black, look a bit grey in the pictures. A pretty much spot on match with the belly pan. Done by a company called Raw Coatings in York....
