i believe the stud spacing on the 749R heads is different to the stud spacing of the 104mm bore engine!

when i looked i thought they were very similar, the bit that completes the belt guard was bolted to the 999R ones and cast as part of the 1098 ones...
id say the front will fit but you'll need to use the original spacers and probably discs unless the offset are the same..panigalw wheels fit on to...
