Can only be a good thing as these clock screens scratch so easily.
Just tap the old bolt out with a similar sized bolt / bar the tap the new bolt in while knocking out the bolt / bar. That's how I fitted my frame...

I had that very problem with mine while trying to fit a CF seat fairing. You could try pulling the under tray up to the seat unit, fixing it...
