Try fitting a new fuse for the ECU. It is the 2nd fuse in from the right in the fusebox. It’s either 3 or 5 amp.

Always used copperslip on the threads. The bolts are a bastard to remove if they seize in the nut.
What version elm327?
Replace the coil/pump/injector relay in the battery box. Causes no end of odd electrical gremlins.
12.3v would suggest a duff battery. Try a new battery.

They are something like 1/4” bsp thread. A better route would be to weld in some 18mm bungs on the link pipes.

You also need the front link pipe to remove the horizontal cat. The DP ECU will stop the bike running lean.
