Could you try mounting the IMU inside the bracket, rather than underneath? The IMU is very sensitive to position and to the angle it's mounted....
Motul 7100 15W/50. Whichever brand you go for, 15W/50 grade is important to the correct operation of the DVT.

They should swap ok. There are differences, like gear ratios etc. but the basic shafts for gearbox are the same. Bearings are the same. 999...

The 600 is carb'd so no ECU. If it is restricted for say A2 then the restrictors are either in, or under the inlet manifolds.
