I'd lock both vertical and horizontal cams, and remove the plugs for easy turning of the engine.
Yes that's right, but you can move it over and put next to the battery to give you access to the oil filler.

Check the fuel pipes in the tank, they can split and just recycle fuel round the tank
when i bought my old fireblade it came with one of those racefit pipes, its was horrendous to ride, really dont know how people can ride with them.
