Ummm...that's not an RR. Swingarm pivot is wrong, and there shouldn't be a peg hanger on the LHS of the subframe. For a cooking R model that's...
I got banned from my local GS owners group. Apparently as a late 20s hooligan in jeans and combat boots I was bringing the brand into disrepute. :D
I think it might be, I'm afraid. Pretty sure the MTS disc is 320mm, as opposed to the 1x98 330mm. 848 non-Evo discs are 320, but no idea if wheel...
Part of the reason the GS felt smoother is weight...all that pig iron does a good job of dealing with vibrations.
Size 10. That said, I find the foot controls on the MTS are a little too long for my liking...used to stumpy rearsets.
I'd go with residue/whatnot on the discs. The lighter wheels will have made the symptoms worse as there's less rotational force to counter it....
Pretty sure it's the same fitting as the rest of the "big" models (1098/1198/1098SF), although I have a feeling the discs might be slightly different?

Don't worry, if my mate's garage is anything to go by there's plenty of smashed S2k's to get spares from :upyeah:
Yes, I'm still running the standard discs at the moment, it works perfectly well.
Sev, I'm fully familiar with the 7G issues. That's why I had a E320cdi with a straight six . It's definitely a bad design decision, just...
Methinks Sev's local dealer has upset him. There's plenty of independant Merc specialists out there :upyeah: Bosch Lambda's are £250 a pair. Also...
That's Aviva for you. To insure my Speed Triple direct with them, £1000. The *exact* same policy via a broker? £270. Thieving c*nts.
Those Kineo wheels are lovely. £2200 a pair though.
