The other thing to remember is the overall stack height which should be 38 to 38.5mm

I've been using Rock Oil 20w50 in the SS for a while without any issues.
Keep us posted on the progress of the rebuild and plenty of pictures, and keep withit the 900 moter is real hoot to ride around on.
