Nav can be mirrored from you phone to the sccreen. I am not expecting much in that area

OK Sev, But I intend to slip the Duct over the pipe by around 20-30 CM so some temp there.
The rear of my bike sits around two metres as the fumes fly from my door, so I would expect the force and heat to get it done.

I would make an educated guess (I am in Electronics) that it boils down to cost. Reduced wires size and a cheaper connector save pennies....
