My 899 with Termi's doesn't suffer any heat issues with belly pan.
My 899 does it. With standard swingarm in then single sided 1199 one in.

My 899 has done 17000 miles now and got wet twice this year. No electrical problems for last 2 years. Just a new set of cams on rear cylinder.
@Sev the pitch is 520 for chain and sprockets. The front steel sprocket is 899 o/e (15t) and the rear alloy one is 44t.
