I would venture that the 1198 cases are the same as the SS, 9**, 1098 etc? 848 is a wet clutch brand new motor so unlikely TBH?

Just stripped the clutch out, oil mist everywhere from the demise of the tiny pushrod seal right on the end of the gearbox shaft where the pushrod...
Fit it and check the clearance between the spring tower tops and the cover? Mine DID need the gasket fitting - unfortunately I didnt know there...
