I agree that it needs a bit more bark, so that should certainly help. Looks quite nice too.
It’s just a bit too big to fit in the gap. I may have another look, now that I have more time. Maybe filing a bit off would help.
In theory that should help, but it’s the physical slop that causes the jerkiness on anything but silky smooth roads.
