Its not an interference fit, and its been like that for a few years now, so I didnt worry. The studs are really hard to remove, they drilled it....
It looks it, but it all goes together ok. One of them was recoiled by a local engineering place, so it could be out a bit. The stud had broke

When I removed one, I used a large hose clip, to prevent the bezel from deforming too much. It did help, take it real slow.
The bezel is steel and not alloy, its a pig of a job and difficult to put back on as securely as it was. I have painted a needle with success...
