The stock brakes aren’t high end, they’re crap. Switching to Serie Oro discs & brembo racing pads cured the issue completely on my bike.
If it takes the pressure off the neck and shoulders, that’d be a good start.

It’s the brake discs. Mine used to do it, then went away when I replaced the discs.

Mine did the same, and were replaced under warranty. I’ve got a good dealer who ordered Brembo Serie Oro discs instead, which are loads better.
