Not with a race ECU is my understanding, plug and play, it effectively removes the immobilizer which is why we did it ( I'd thrown the damaged...

We fitted the race ECU as I'd thrown the clocks away (long story) and at the time the ECU needed to see the clocks to be active) , needs a map...

A friend put a race ECU into our 2004 m1000.... I'm sure there's folks on here who can supply a suitably mapped ecu
