Yellow is just fine ....as an under coat...
Isn't a sign of this the clutch fluid in the reservoir going black? Happened on my 916, fluid slowly goes black then no clutch, could be confusing...
I did my track panels with a gravity paint gun off my air compressor, surprised how well it turned out, passed the 10 paces test without lacquer
Agreed re brake, hill start maybe but even then only if it's really steep. That said, pc plod would take a dim view for sure
