My early 748R (2000) looked the same as the ebay listing. Showa front and back, forks were TiN coated. Oil cooler. Those cans look like what mine...
Has gold forks - good sign! If the owner is will, get a pic of the TB's, they should be shower type. No plaque to that year.

I realise that, though it may help, these things are viby at the best of times. I certainly found a set of heavy bar ends helped with my 1098.

Some heavy (Steel not ali) bar ends will help with the numb hands.
