updates So I've ridden the bike twice now, just shy of the 200 mile mark. What a bike, the power is effortless, the quick shifter and autoblipper...
They are on the r/h side, I'm wondering if it's glass because there does look to be further marks on the tyre.... could have ridden through a flat...
You'll probably struggle to get much of a discount on a 1299, they're going to be harder to get hold of this year as well which won't help......

I've sent over images to the dealer to see what they say.. I've got a few niggles that need looking at anyway, like the mirror coming loose...
