Yip - there was a hidden bolt underneath the engine inside the sump...removed that, one tap, and the top part of the crankcase lifted....more pics...
Wasnt in the manual but it looks like (from watching YT videos) theres a hidden bolt inside the sump....gonna go back in the garage and check...
