What kit did you get? Check on the wiring diagram in the manual?

Pretty much never use the clutch shifting up.
There was me thinking I’d stumbled into the wrong site/den.
I did, but I replaced the whole wiring assembly rather than taking the wires out of the existing assembly.
That’s nasty - hope they get found.

Anecdotally, the 996 will have more low down oomph so may feel more sparky at road speeds.
