I’ve been jet washing bikes for years, never had a problem. Just keep the pressure away from bearings/ vulnerable areas and it’s fine.
Yep, I’d go with that. I’ve had a few new bikes, and always just ride them normally. The worst thing you can do with a new bike is baby it.

I also use Auto Glym Polar blast as a snow foam on the bikes and cars, and am very pleased with it.
