Never had a problem with a normal silver socket when using my Clarke gun...yet.
1098 Tricolore is definitely the same as any other 1098 so should be fine.
I got some full length lines for my 1098 from HEL. 848 base model has different calipers to 1098 but the 848evo has the same M4 calipers.
Whatever you sold it for, less £5k+ or walk away.
