you sure the pin that goes in the wheel hub is not for the smaller 848 ... my single sided is fine on my 1198

Earth cable is on the engine case screw, to the right from the battery ... just follow the cable from the battery... easy to find I put this in...
I came from an aprilia rsv as well .... 1198 is an awesome bike :D ... first thing i did was upgrade the battery and check earth cable connection...
I use Castrol power 1 racing 10w 40 fully synthetic bike oil ... always used that in my aprilia with no issues
ChrisW can flash the map if you send him your ecu, you will need a tps reset though as Pavey said ... i can only reflash the ecu when attached to...
You can get the map and flash it to the ecu, even cheaper

I'm all for the plain on .. off brake light and standard blink rate of indicators, that way there will not be any issue with the MOT
