From my test rides, it has to be said the 899 is a pure fun bike. I would imagine a majority would be quicker on that than on an 1199.
I'm guessing the topbox and pannier covers can be removed and thus be vinyl wrapped to match.
Reflectors are because the bike is Euro 4 compliant and all Euro 4 bikes must have these fitted. All new bikes will have them by 2017.
