To me all these update press releases seem to just point to a new Fireblade. I don't think Honda have mentioned a V4 themselves.
It seems to be due to porous cylinder heads caused by the glycol based anti-freeze. Not sure why it effects Multis more than most other Ducatis.

Is the Skyhook system an Ohlins system as looking at the photos none of the bikes appear to have Ohlins forks?
