I must admit I'm the world's worst for fiddling with my bikes but the SL is one I would personally leave standard, use the money for a decent set...

buy a 1098/1198 brilliant bikes, do track days and that will stop the speeding worry. then enjoy them on the road at lower speeds, i ride my 1198...

yes it was on race shift. and very nice too, i remember riding this bike round mallory park with the quick shifter on it was ace :upyeah:
all sorted now chaps,by sheer luck i bumped into a lad who races at the TT at my work, and he got me some, well done andy jessop.
i usually get 85miles out of my 1198 but can go down to 70 if giving it the beans!!
I got piegas on my other bike (r1) there lush!! I had to get a new sprocket aswell as oz are 5 hole sprocket carriers and standard was 6 hole, but...
I don't own either mate but I go with the R all day long.
