Tbh I found the ts fine around town, using 2nd. But I changed to a 43t (iirc) rear that made it far easier. The usual 3500-4500 fuelling blip...

Same with my 4 series: now they have removable tow bars. Not cutting, about £600 fitted. BMW wanted £3500 to retrofit....

IMHO the last of the twin spark skyhook bikes is the best. Ie pre-dvt. The skyhook was more responsive to adjustments, the engine more raw and...
KTM are selling one thats 140kg and 240hp if you can make that work ;)
fun bike if you can shed some weight off it. Needs to be 140kg ish IMHO (without fuel). Otherwise 765 etc will be more fun

Trying to decide if I want to change the gearing too, either +2 rear or drop one front. ALways gone 14t front.
