My SS being an US spec 900 runs a 4.5in rim on the rear so I run a 160, tyre of choice is Bridgestone 020 at present with no issues.
The carb heater kits are bit like the red v yellow debate. Some feel that they offer little or no difference. Personally I have had no issues...
I used the Titanium Pro-Bolt Dzus fasteners to replace the two underside steel fasteners. Just got to save for the rest

Heavy flywheel and steel clutch basket means a lot of inertia to overcome so they rev rather lethargically, but you get some excellent engine...
