I tentatively tried a bit of white spirit on a cloth, but it’s the lip that’s the issue. Fear either aggressive rubbing (risk damage to paintwork)...
I’ll take a pic later, but it’s like a later of paint has been added on the edge. I think it’s just whatever they used to fix the badge
