I would borrow my other halfs hair drier and direct some hot air around and likely problem areas .
They gave them a very light lube ,and as you say a tap with a rubber mallet .
The reason i mentioned the bobbins, is my front brakes were binding when i put my bike in for its service, it was surprising how stiff the wheel...

Are the bobbins all floating nicely ,or do they need a light lube and freeing up ?
i would be more than happy to see him not sign ,he has had it all his own way for to long,
I would love to see him in WSB and actually see what he can do, as for worrying Redding etc ,i have got my doubts .
