Make sure that a tool has not got caught in the drawer and is stopping the runner, I had a screwdriver that did this and shook the tool box...
Mmm mystery then, it should work, everything is in place, can you try some easy start instead of fuel by taking out the fuel pump fuse and crank
Have you checked to see if the belts are still aligned?
