A few have run 1098 dashes on 916, I'm pretty sure I have seen a couple of 620 monster race bikes with a 1098 dash too.
Agree. Lack of wind noise means you are not distracted IMHO. Also, if riding an older ducati, its doesn't sound like its about to expire at 6k...
I do look at the QR stuff for wheels, and baulk at the price. Seems mega expensive for what is a couple of billet brackets
