I usually move the cover round and use a flat lever to gently ease it out. It's not a good cover no matter how you do it

Put an O ring between the throttle grip and the housing. It calms the twitchy throttle in town.
Not fancy a 998? Engines are better in my opinion, and they look about the same
Finally got around to finishing the panigale valve adjustment. Only needed to fit new collects to get the clearance back into spec.

Definitely best with the exhaust off unfortunately, otherwise you get sealant everywhere as you try and get the cover on.
