The tank is brand fire new paint,so out of the question to repaint it,tank is now off the bike and all packed up to be swapped for standard red...
no lacquer on the 899,ducati cost cutting at its finest.

Went out on bike all day yesterday,family and gp are priority today,in that order.
After swapping the standard 899 steel tank to a 1199 ali tank that also included fitting the 1199 lightweight ali rear subframe,i am not happy...
Agree with Bradders,low rev upshifts 7k and below clutch shifts, only use qs when pushing on,i am a bit paranoid about qs and premature gearbox...
