The rs 250 is the model i have been looking at most as it is still quite modern and spares should not be a problem,don't understand the rgv vj21...
Had to google most of them, a bit to old school for me and guessing spares would be a problem.

Only real advantage is that the clutch pack is easy to access with the mag 2 piece cover.i put a slipper clutch in mine so seemed like a good idea...
You have to use both parts of the casings,the inspection cover and housing from the 1199,as you said the 899 is one piece.
Straight fit ,my 899 has 1199 mag casings and mag cylinder head covers off a 1199.
Just purchased a weekend pass from gp.com so can watch gp,could not settle on the beach knowing qualifying was on :upyeah:
Look on the bright side at least it will go like a proper 899 now,not quite as fast as a 1199 but about the same as a 848 but with less midrange...

Three hours labour for sorting out the exhaust valve seems excessive as it only has to be turned to the open position where it will stay...
So this bike has ,dsp,dvt,abs,tc,dwc,rbw,tft,dtc,led,dms,cc,dcl,sssa,am i missing somthing ? and the base is 3kg lighter :upyeah:
