How many miles has your bike done? Mine seemed to be more fuel effecient the more miles i did,
I don't really fill mine right up and get 135-140 before the fuel light comes on. If i fill it up to the point fuel is sitting right up to the lip...

Bike comes under plant and equipment, i claim eveything including a new helmet every year and new leathers boots etc as it is classed as safety...
