Yes, the conn rod is shot. Goes to show that the titanium ones are fairly tough, as the bike lives on the track guess I should change the bolts...
Not sure if you have but might be an idea to change the bottom end bolts and shells. Mine have just come loose on track

It was 500 miles off its due time to have the belts changed I seem to remember.
Broke a belt on an early 851. Expensive.
Double check all the relays beside the battery, I bent each connection slightly on mine to ensure a good connection. And then held them in place...
