How hard do you think it should be? Ime it takes a fair effort to move the rear wheel by hand: it doesn't just spin when it's fitted.

TBF I have a stand that, with a tall tyre, touches the floor enough to be a problem. I had to change the stand fittings to sort it
Paddock stand is high enough to not grab the floor, right?

Have you tried turning the motor by hand? Make sure it's it seized (long shot, normally clicks still)
Starter motor? Worth direct power to ensure it's working
