:upyeah:. Thinking about it, I think that the street fighter and super bike arms are different. Maybe that's where the possible problem is...
The swing arms should be the same even on the 848. The 848 has a smaller hub but that's all I think. To answer your question, it should fit both.

Fair comment. Don't know how the set up is on the 996, I mean distance between exhaust and mesh. Seems fine on the 848. Will remember to check it...
I've just done this on the seat unit and nose fairing. Double sided sticky tape and hot glue works well.
@Sinister they look stunning! Nearly as good as some polishing I saw at brass poles while I was over there! ;)
