So the stack height on a std clutch isnt as critical as a slipper....there is a bigger ball park for it to work in...
no i wouldn't put two frictions against one another and there is no need! Start with the two steel .... and finish with a steel or if needs be add...
if you need more room to get an other friction and steel in you can change one of the bottom 2mm for a 1.5.. if you need to increase a bit more...
identify one of the steel plates with a dimple or dot on it ....you can check it to see its dished on a flat surface/ put two 2mm first then...
Do you have at least 1 dished plate
The criticism is because you are giving false information!
So I wouldn’t and see no beef whatsoever to put two frictions together and think probably misheard as three is no problem putting two steels...
O Oh dear sorry but so much wrong here
So my point is the first two steel plates are what the clutch pack presses against so two think ones 4mm... rather than 3mm
Is your inner drum like this 7,10 [ATTACH]
The whole purpose of the different size steel plates is so you can alter the height/ thickness of the stack To achieve a required height
And I would put the bigger Stiffer plate pair back at the beginning
Is it a std clutch
