Like I mentioned earlier, have a look at an Ilmberger carbon mud guard. It appears to be as long front to back, as the Ducati two piece's together...

Had the same issue with mine, but to make it even worse I had a fender extender fitted as well (Riders Cardiff). So had to take that off, now...
