exactly……..the 1198 999 748 all have the same white block connector for the ignition remove the ignition and two wires with a switch jobs a good un….
a thermostat is easy peasy to change and not that much money……..
you could ditch the 999 loom and go 1098 1198 loom ecu and dash……might be a cheaper option plus don't need a ignition key………..opens up the door...
your selling the bike but are going to spend nearly a thousand pound converting it to wet clutch and away from standard that a new purchaser may...
try blocking off part of the radiator see if it runs hotter……….try warming it up stationary see if it reaches working temperature...
