I see the clutch cover is labeled 848 - that would likely be for a wet clutch cover so may not fit 1098/1198 dry clutch?

On 749 and 1098 I use a cut down box spanner that fits the vertical tensioner nut. I then hold that with an adjustable wrench. I can get a 1/4 in...

Mended! New discs, pads and calipers. Horrible job to bleed them - give me a twin line M4/RCS installation any day!

Did 100% fuck all on motorcycles as spent the weekend installing new discs and calipers on my bicycle to cure a recurring squeal.
180/60 will be absolutely fine. I have have run both 180/55 and 180/60 on my 749 trackbike and roadbike with no discernable or noticeable difference.
