I'd say someone added that during it's life, unless you've had it since new. I'm fairly confident the base 998 left the factory with Showa all round.
I see no reason why they would not be absolutely fine, I’d put them out there with an honest description.
Surely, if you add that Johnny, you’ll void the warranty on the bike, or at least give them a way out should anything untoward happen in the next...
